GEANT2 Brings Together eInfrastructure Projects in Bordeaux

The second Concertation Workshop on eInfrastructure will take place in Bordeaux on 14 December 2005. The European Commission's eInfrastructure Concertation initiative is intended to provide an opportunity for FP6-funded network, testbed and grids technologies projects to gather together and discuss issues of common interest, to exchange information on current practice and to explore ways of continuing the concerted efforts.

The meeting's objectives are to:

• Identify commonalities and develop synergies between projects in areas of common interest
• Improve and advance the service that the eInfrastructure projects can provide to the research and education community
• Support collective efforts among these initiatives
• Explore ways of collaborating after this event.

Attendance is open to projects funded by European Commission's DG  INFSO Units D1, F2 and F3, and is by invitation. For more information on this meeting, please visit the main page for the workshop.
