What’s The Difference Between DANTE And GÉANT2?

GÉANT2 is the multi-gigabit pan-European research network. It is also the name of the project that has developed the network. The partners in the GÉANT2 project are European Research and Education Networks (NRENs), DANTE and TERENA. DANTE is the coordinating partner and manages the project on behalf of the other partners. DANTE is a not-for-profit organisation whose shareholders are NRENs from across Europe.
