UKERNA announce MCI as supplier for new network

 UKERNA, the UK NREN, has announced that MCI have been awarded a £29 million contract to deploy a new state-of-the-art fibre optic network. It will connect 19 regional networks across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. UKERNA manages and develops JANET, the UK’s education and research network, which provides connectivity for all further and higher education institutions, research councils and schools.
