Toby Young - Head of Product Management

 Toby is a senior figure within the Telecoms Industry, with over 25 years’ experience of Product Marketing, Business Development / Analysis, Telecoms Strategy and Architecture, and Procurement. He has led teams of marketers, consultants and engineers undertaking strategic projects within some of the worlds blue chip Service Providers and top 100 enterprises. Core competencies include Product marketing, Business Analysis, sourcing, supplier selection and contract negotiation.  He holds a degree in Physics and Computing,  and is an member of the Institute of Marketing. Prior to working at DANTE he worked as an  independent consultant and worked for companies such as AVIVA, R&SA, RBS, Network Rail, Samsonite, Linklaters, The Ford Motor Company,  HomeServe, and Debenhams.

Domenico Vicinanza - Product Manager

 Domenico received his MSc and PhD degrees in Physics and his PhD work involved computer simulation coordination and database design of a LHC experiment detector at CERN. He worked for seven years as a Research Associate at University of Salerno and Roma Tre and as a Scientific Associate at CERN. His activities during this time included LHC Computing Grid sites administration, system administration, IT resources management, network troubleshooting, grid computing, services support and teaching.

Before joining DANTE Domenico worked at CERN in the IT section (Operations and Support Section) covering the role of Deputy Regional Operation Centre Manager and working on the EGEE and EUMEDGRID projects. He was dealing with Grid sites certification, support to new user communities and new projects in the lower Mediterranean area, software deployment and training.
 
Domenico is also involved in the application of distributed computing and advanced networking technologies to music and visual arts as the technical coordinator of the ASTRA (Ancient instrument Sound/Timbre Reconstruction Application) and Lost Sounds Orchestra projects for the reconstruction of musical instruments on GÉANT and EUMEDCONNECT.

Domenico's other interests include music (he plays piano and percussions), Argentine tango, music composition and visual arts.
